The Accident

Today Suki had a little accident in the morning. This time, fortunately, it wasn't on the carpet. She was clever enough to figure out that she should avoid the carpet. Judging by the appearance, colour and smell, the accident occurred sometime either in the wee hours of the morning or at night. Her backside was a mess too. Linda and I had to wash her with a hose later on.

We went to Baraboo later on in the afternoon. Suki stayed in her house while Linda and I went hiking to eastern bluff of Devil's Lake. We thought it would be too much for Suki, since she has a tough time in warm weather whenever there's a lot of climbing to do. The hike around the bluff was quite interesting. We met a LOT of dogs along the way. They were of all sizes, some smaller than Ned and others bigger than a calf. Suki gave Fermi and Darwin some company while we were gone. When we came back, Pete was there. He was there to check on the Fermi and Darwin. Both Fermi and Darwin were glad to see us. Fermi meowed at us from inside when we pulled into the driveway. This is a rare occurrance, I must add. Darwin was his usual plant-like self. Today he showed some movement around the house. He jumped up on the counter to have supper. Both cats looked a little bit lonely.

Suki and Linda are right now watching the Olympics. Suki is lying on the couch in silliest position you will ever see (we have photographic evidence to prove we're not bluffing!). Ned tried to match Suki silly position with one of his own. However, today Suki beat him paws down.
